The mouthpiece patch
A very useful device that cushions the teeth from the mouthpiece. The exact material choice and type of adhesive is very important and we have made sure that the choice made for Reeds Direct is the best available.
You have a choice of two materials and thickness.
The thin clear version is a fairly hard material and protects the mouthpiece from teeth marks and wear. it does not alter the feel in the mouth very much other than provide a little extra grip.
The thicker black material is more springy, therefore protects the teeth and head from some of the vibrations. It also provides extra grip.
In some circumstances it can be useful to layer a black patch over the thin clear one. This is particularly useful for people who bite very hard and or have irregular teeth patterns.
