Bari Plastic is the best known name in plastic reeds. It is a completely synthetic reed (clear plastic) designed to duplicate the performance of cane with unbeatable longevity. The sound is bright and punchy, favored by many jazz players.
Also available, the Bari Star Reed made from Avilar, a unique material which is shaped using conventional cane machinery. A clean pure sound with a very positive attack is its hallmark.
