Harry Hartmann synthetic Baritone saxophone reed with added carbon.
Alternating layers of carbon and synthetic hollow fibers in a resin substrate create a reed with rich overtones with a sound spectrum that is bigger compared to the regular hollow fiber Fiberreed. The low register is fat, the high notes are screaming, with a convincing presence.
The classic cut give a warm dark sound and is perfect for a vintage jazz sound or Classic mouthpieces like the Selmer C*
Despite sometimes acquiring a ’torn’ look to the tip of the reed they still work very well and last a very long time
